Destigmatizing men's mental health through community, peer support, and professional clinical guidance.
For too long, society has demanded that men bear their burdens in silence. The pressure to be the unwavering provider and protector has led to a mental health crisis. Men suffer from alarmingly high rates of anxiety, depression, and suicide, yet they are significantly less likely to seek help than women.
POMO Inc's Mental Wellness program tackles this crisis head-on by normalizing conversations about mental health. We provide spaces where men don't have to put on a brave face.
Confidential, facilitated group sessions where men share their struggles, listen to others, and realize they are not alone in their battles.
Direct referrals to our network of male-friendly licensed therapists who understand the unique psychological challenges men face.
Immediate intervention tools and emergency contact networks for men who are in acute distress or feeling overwhelmed.
If you are feeling persistently numb, overwhelmed, or anxious about the future, you are the reason this program exists.
Divorce, job loss, bereavement, or the transition into fatherhood can trigger severe stress. We provide a stabilizing community.
If you look at your life and realize you have no one to talk to about what really matters, our circles offer immediate connection.
Our Mental Wellness program is overseen by our Wellness Director, Dr. Elias Vargas, and Chief Clinical Advisor, Dr. Sarah. They ensure that our methodologies are safe, effective, and evidence-based.
However, the heart of the program is our Peer Facilitators—everyday men who have undergone rigorous training to guide discussions, recognize warning signs, and maintain a safe, non-judgmental environment in our circles.
Meet every Tuesday and Thursday evening via secure Zoom links. Groups are capped at 12 men to ensure everyone has time to share.

Men often don't express depression through sadness; they express it through behavior.
A sudden short temper or constant frustration over minor issues.
Withdrawing from friends, hobbies, and family gatherings.
Reckless driving, gambling, or increased substance abuse.
Unexplained headaches, digestive issues, or chronic fatigue.
If you recognize these in yourself or a brother, it's time to reach out.
"I thought I had to carry the weight of my failed business alone. I was drinking too much and shutting out my wife. The POMO support circle was the first place I admitted I was terrified. Saying it out loud broke the spell. These guys had my back when I had nothing."
"I didn't believe in therapy. I thought it was for weak men. I was wrong. The clinical referral I got through POMO matched me with a therapist who actually understood how my mind worked. It's the hardest work I've ever done, but it saved my relationship with my kids."
If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a severe mental health crisis, please do not wait.
The Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is available 24/7, free, and confidential.
We start with ground rules regarding confidentiality. Then, we do a check-in where each man shares his current state of mind. The facilitator may introduce a topic, or the floor is opened for anyone dealing with an acute issue. There is no pressure to speak until you are ready.
100%. What is said in the circle stays in the circle. The only exception is if a facilitator believes you are an immediate danger to yourself or others, at which point clinical protocols are activated to keep you safe.
Drop the armor. Join a community of men who understand exactly what you are going through.
